But if you created your account years ago without paying much attention, you may be stuck with an automated version or name that you don't like very much.īut you can choose a completely new account. When you first register on Skype, you are given an account name that you can change at that time or leave as it is. the next time you open Skype on the connected Internet, you should see your new name.
Doing so will save and apply your name to your Skype account. This is the green button in the upper right corner of the page. Enter a new name (or) surname in the text field (s) in the "Personal Information" area, respectively. This button is at the top right of the profile page. It is in the blue column on the left side of the page. Step 4: Scroll down and click Edit Profile. This option is located at the top of the drop-down menu. If you have access to Skype, skip this step, and go to the next step. Doing so is prompted by the drop-down menu. It is located in the upper right corner of the page.
If you haven't already logged in, click on Login in the upper right corner and enter your email. If you've already logged in to Skype, you'll see your username in the top right corner of the page.
